"THE LAST LOOK"
PAGE-3
Owned by Dion Giuliano of Kal Koncepts, The "Last
Look" has been called the most photographed minitruck of all time. Check
out the next few pages of never before published build photos, and promo pics
of this highly modified 1986 Toyota, that changed the way minitrucks were
built, and graphics were painted.

Check out the carbon fiber 4-link cover.
Dzues fastened in the back, this cover also dubbled as a sign board
when the rear suspension was exposed at shows. Notice the "Godfather"
style Kal Koncepts/Air Syndicate logo in the rear. The letters are actually
the exposed carbon fiber. As you can see the graphic extended throughout
the entire truckbed. |

Doug DeBerti at Trenz custom made us this full phantom
grill for the toy. The front bumper is a modified Toyota 4WD bumper
that has been welded solid, smoothed, and another grill incorporated
into the opening. From this pick you can barely see the pre-runner style
rollcage mounted shocks. This truck had a full workable suspension along
with the airbags. Ahead of its time in 1995. See how the valance was
painted, but the "Last Look" was left in CF. We purposefully
used little if any chrome on this truck as a statement to a number of
current vehicles that were basically stockers with paintjobs, and rims,
and chrome. The "Last Look" was definitely the "Anti-Bolt-On"
kustom. |

Even the headliner was kustom Carbon Fiber. How
many people do you think scoped out this truck, and ignored the painted/molded
headliner, with the stretch face murals. The Konji letters in the head
liner spelled out "The Last Look". At least Craig was pretty
sure it did,...He spent a lot of time with a Japanese dictionary. We
got pretty close,...heheeh. |
